Due to internal progression, We're looking for a Department Manager to join our Bond Street store. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves developing people, and has the commercial mindset to drive performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As a Department Manager, you'll lead from the front, owning the performance, culture, and day-to-day operations of your area while helping shape the future of Team Gymshark.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.
  • Driving sales performance through strong commercial decision-making and a deep understanding of key business metrics.
  • Creating an engaging and inspiring store environment through outstanding visual presentation and operational excellence.
  • Developing team members through real-time coaching, performance conversations, and career development planning.
  • Partnering with store leadership to execute seasonal initiatives, launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and customer engagement.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy, stock flow, replenishment, and stockroom organization remain at a best-in-class standard.
  • Supporting scheduling, labor planning, and resource allocation to meet the needs of the business.
  • Leading daily team huddles, communications, and operational updates.
  • Acting as a key leader on the sales floor and supporting the wider management team to deliver store success.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience in a retail leadership role with responsibility for leading teams and driving business results.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire others.
  • Experience analyzing performance metrics and translating insights into actionable business plans.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance operational, people, and commercial priorities.
  • A customer-first mindset with experience handling customer concerns and escalations professionally.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience managing performance and supporting employee development.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-moving retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

 

SALARY RANGE

This role has a salary range between $26.92-$31.73. We are committed to fair and consistent pay practices. The salary range shown represents the anticipated hiring range for this position and may vary depending on individual qualifications and internal equity
