Twenty-five years ago, I started my McDonald's journey as a Crew Member. Through hard work, continuous learning, and the support of great leaders, I advanced through the restaurant and eventually became a McDonald's Owner/Operator. Today, I'm proud to lead a team serving the Dayton community and creating opportunities for others to grow.

The Opportunity
As a Department Leader, you'll be a key member of the restaurant leadership team. You'll work alongside the General Manager and Shift Leaders to develop people, improve operations, and drive results in your area of responsibility.
Whether your focus is People, Service, Kitchen, Guest Experience, Training, or Profitability, you'll have the opportunity to lead initiatives that make a real impact on the success of the restaurant.
This position is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership journey and prepare for future advancement opportunities.
What You'll Do
• Lead and develop Crew Members and Shift Leaders
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts
• Coach team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
• Monitor key performance goals and create action plans for improvement
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operations
• Ensure procedures and standards are consistently followed
• Build a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and growth
• Partner with the General Manager to achieve restaurant goals
• Develop future leaders through coaching and mentoring

• Previous leadership experience preferred
