Hiring Salary: $4,600.33 - $6,440.46/Monthly

The Department Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for both predoctoral and postdoctoral Endodontic clinics. This position manages daily clinical operations, supervises administrative and clinical support staff, coordinates patient scheduling including emergencies, and ensures efficient workflows across scheduling, billing, compliance, and equipment management. This position partners with department leadership to support strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and delivery of high-quality patient care.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in healthcare administration or practice management; OR Master's Degree in lieu of experience; OR a combination of education and experience to equal six (6) years.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinic workflows, and compliance regulations.
  • Knowledge of dental billing, coding (CDT), and insurance processes.
  • Skill in leadership, staff supervision, and performance management.
  • Skill in organization, time management, and operational planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Ability to analyze operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, faculty, students, and patients.
  • Ability to manage conflict and handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Skill in the use of electronic health record systems and practice management software.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position may occasionally be required to work weekends and evenings. May require occasional overnight travel

  • Coordinates complex procedures and external referrals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
