Pay: $58,000 - $70,000- Depending on experience


EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
 

  • Create and maintain compelling merchandise presentations that engage customers and stimulate sales.
  • Ensure the crew is present and ready to work.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures and perform disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Ensure the safety and productivity of employees. 
  • Protect the company image and brand standards at all times.
  • Design and maintain the overall layout of corporate offices.
  • Purchase and manage display accessories.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising department to plan floor layout, discounts, and special purchases.
  • Update and rotate displays and signage to reflect inventory changes and promotions.
  • Develop and execute plans for merchandise displays and window presentations.
  • Arrange props, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and accessories.
  • Handle all merchandise with care and follow proper safety procedures.
  • Oversee the visual merchandising team, including evaluations, discipline, recognition, and separation documentation.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: 

  • 2-3 years management experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Proven employment history of interior/floor design.
  • Ability to take direction from numerous upper-level management staff.
  • Positive attitude when working with customers.
  • Knowledge of employment practices.
  • Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing hearing/listening and repetitive motion. 

 

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 25 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects. 

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
