About the SkillBridge Program The Department of Defense SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with the opportunity to gain real-world civilian work experience during their final 180 days of active duty.

Valdosta, GA (Headquarters) Atlanta, GA Macon, GA Statesboro, GA Sanford, NC Plain City, OH Jackson, TN
Project Sites: Nationwide (Travel Required - Lodging & Per Diem Provided)
Career Path Opportunities SkillBridge participants are placed into roles based on qualifications, experience, and career interests. Opportunities may include:
Field Operations
Electrical Helper / Apprentice Journeyman Electrician Production Specialist CDL Driver Safety Technician
Technical & Preconstruction
BIM / Revit Modeler Estimator Project Engineer (Assistant PM)
Corporate & Support Functions
Human Resources Accounting / Finance IT Support Administrative Operations
What You'll Do
Contribute to real-world projects in a fast-paced electrical construction environment Work alongside experienced leaders and skilled professionals Follow a structured training and mentorship plan Support daily operations in your assigned department (field or office) Participate in safety training, including OSHA 10 Receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations Travel to active job sites as needed

Qualifications
Active-duty service member within 180 days of separation Command approval to participate in SkillBridge High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license Willingness to travel and work in dynamic environments Strong work ethic, professionalism, and communication skills Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and (if applicable) motor vehicle review Eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Work Environment Depending on your selected career path, work may include:
Office-based professional environments Active construction job sites Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Physically demanding tasks (field roles), including lifting, climbing, and extended standing
Compensation & Support
