Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. One year of supervisory experience in building maintenance and construction is required. Must possess a CDL/Class B. The DTPW classification of DTPW Facilities Supervisor performs safety-sensitive functions and is subject to the provisions of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol Regulations. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.

This is an advanced professional and administrative position with primary responsibility for directing and overseeing the maintenance, repair, construction, and operational readiness of major transit facilities, including Metrorail/Metromover stations, Metrobus facilities, Park & Rides, and the South Dade Busway. Provides leadership and direction to maintenance crews, coordinates work assignments, and oversees projects involving building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing trades. Ensures maintenance and construction activities are strategically planned, efficiently coordinated, and completed to established standards across multiple geographically transit facilities.
