MELE Associates is seeking a DRO to support the DOE Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligences Intelligence Directorate, Analytic Support Division. They shall provide GEOINT national technical means and commercial collection requirement systems support. The individual shall be responsible for assisting in the planning and organizing of GEOINT specific integrated collection requirement strategies using complex, coherent and systematic intelligence collection campaigns employing national and theater assets against nuclear and energy-related targets world-wide. They will support the Director, Analytic Support Division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active TS Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master's degree.
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the desired collection requirement discipline (GEOINT) or operations management at the tactical, strategic or national level required.
Have a collection requirements background with an understanding of the National Intelligence Priority Framework (NIPF), relevant National Collection Directives, report generation and dissemination.
Have training and a working knowledge of discipline-specific collection requirements, evaluation and tasking systems used by originators.
Possess knowledge of, and skill in applying technical collection planning concepts, principles, practices, laws, regulations, and methods and techniques to include US person reporting issues.
Have knowledge of the full spectrum of IC collection capabilities and accesses, to include strengths and weaknesses of specific sources/agencies in a specific discipline. Knowledge of the missions and functions of agencies within the Intelligence Community who specialize in the various collections.
Be able to establish and maintain effective mission execution and interdepartmental and interagency coordination of the department's collection requirements, training and tools.
Have experience supporting a collection requirements portfolio; understanding customer requirements; with proven skill in measuring departmental information gaps and the effectiveness of collection strategies.
Have successfully completed a discipline-specific training program.
Must have experience with, or knowledge of, GIMS, GIMS certification preferred; however, certification can be obtained if candidate has a strong background in collection requirements management, training must be completed within the first six months of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
LOCATION: This is a full-time position in Washington, DC
SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. The range for this position is 70k-92k.
