Network Deployment Specialist

Apex Systems is hiring for a Network Deployment Specialist with a large government client supporting the Navy & Marine Corps, on-site in Patuxent River, MD!

Location: 100% on-site at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours (8-hours shifts; standard 40 hours/week)

Contract Type/Duration: W2 Contract, Long-term rolling

Pay Rate: $43.47/hour

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems.
• Administer LAN/BAN/WANs. Schedule conversions and cutovers.
• Coordinate with all responsible users and sites.
• Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.

Requirements:

• Active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
• CCNA OR CCST Certification (or ability to obtain within the first 6-months of employment)
• 4+ years of IT Hardware/software/networking experience
• Ability to work 100% on-site
