Position Summary

The Deployment / Movement / Leader Logistics Technical Instructor provides technical instruction and field support for unit movement, deployment readiness, leader logistics, and integrated maintenance/supply readiness. The position supports commanders, executive officers, platoon leaders, and unit logistics personnel with movement planning, readiness processes, and related logistics systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach or support the Executive Officer/Platoon Leader Maintenance Course.

• Teach or support Company Commander/First Sergeant logistics instruction.

• Train leaders in oversight of maintenance, supply, property, and arms-room operations.

• Support unit deployment and movement readiness activities.

• Provide technical support involving TC-AIMS, ICODES, air-load planning, rail-load operations, and movement-planning processes when required.

• Support SAVs involving movement, deployment, and cross-functional logistics readiness.

• Provide leader-focused onsite technical assistance.

• Assist Government inspectors with readiness-related inspection activities.

• Serve as a senior cross-functional SME during exercises, surge events, and high-demand periods.

• Prepare or contribute to briefings, movement/readiness products, trend reports, and other required documents.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army logistics, movement, deployment, maintenance, supply, or leader-level logistics experience.

• Demonstrated experience supporting unit movement or deployment-readiness activities.

• Working knowledge of TC-AIMS, ICODES, air-load, rail-load, and/or comparable movement-planning processes appropriate to the candidate's background.

• Broad understanding of Army maintenance, supply, and readiness operations.

• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and coach leaders.

• Strong briefing and written-communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former S4/G4, executive officer, movement officer/NCO, mobility warrant/NCO, maintenance leader, or comparable experience.

• Air movement, rail operations, unit movement, deployment support, or load-planning experience.

• GCSS-Army, AESIP, or other Army logistics-system experience.

• SAV, COMET, inspection-support, or unit-readiness experience.

• Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.

• Active Secret eligibility/clearance.

Security and Installation Access

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation-access, background-investigation, CAC, and Government information-system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work Location and Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Mission requirements may include occasional travel or support outside normal core duty hours. Final off-site travel requirements remain subject to the final solicitation.
