Role: Deployment Strategist
Location: New York, NY
Our client, an AI partner to leading insurers, is hiring a Deployment Strategist to own the rollout, success, and expansion of their AI agents at the largest insurance customers. This is an ideal role for someone with high autonomy, a strong bias to action, and genuine curiosity about understanding customers and their workflows.
You'll work directly with customers to ensure the AI agents drive measurable business impact - and lead expansion across workflows, teams, and business units. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, product, and GTM, with real accountability for outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Translate customer operations into product direction by working closely with customers to uncover pain points and define success criteria.
- Drive executive-level value narratives by leading demos, pilots, and business reviews that clearly articulate ROI and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Product & Engineering to shape the roadmap - surfacing gaps, edge cases, and improvement opportunities.
- Turn messy, real-world workflows into clear, executable deployment steps.
- Own customer outcomes - be accountable for driving measurable impact, not just executing tasks.
What You Bring
Required:
- 2 6 years of experience as a founder, early-stage operator, or MBB / Big 4 consultant.
- Direct ownership of customer relationships.
- Technical undergraduate degree from a top 100 university.
- Proficiency with AI and agentic tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, agent builders).
- Systems thinking and engineering mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience running structured discovery with multi-level stakeholders.
- Project management experience.
- Hands-on experience building and presenting demos or pilots.
