Position Title: Deposit Operations Specialist
Location: San Antonio, TX Overview:
Yoakum National Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily banking transactions, including ACH, checks, wires, and other digital items. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts well to change. Key Responsibilities: - Review and reconcile operational accounts daily
- Process unpostable and exception items
- Handle incoming and outgoing wire requests promptly
- Monitor and respond to internal ticket portal requests
- Investigate fraud claims related to ACH and check transactions
- Input new account information and updates as needed
- Apply account holds, levies, and freezes
- Process items received via treasury management and online banking systems
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Tools & Software: - Windows-based computer systems
- Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook
- Scanner/copier
Required Skills: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Education & Experience: - High School Diploma required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of back-office banking experience (preferred)
