The City of Greensboro Police Department is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful professional to join the team as a Department Programs Technician (Investigative Aid). This role provides critical investigative support to law enforcement detectives by researching information, organizing case materials, following up with witnesses and victims, and helping move investigations toward resolution. Hiring Salary Range: $41,600.00 - $ 48,425.00 Full Salary Range: $41,600.00 - $73,176.00 Annually

About the Role:
As a Department Programs Technician (Investigative Aid), you will provide research, administrative, and investigative support to law enforcement detectives. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive information while working on multiple investigations. This position is NON-EXEMPT under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate must obtain Division of Criminal Information (DCI) Certification from the State of North Carolina within the new-hire probationary period.
