The Deputy Athletic Director serves as a member of the Athletics Executive Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership for all NCAA compliance operations for Texas A&M University–Texarkana Athletics. Reporting directly to the Director of Athletics, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive NCAA Division II compliance program that ensures institutional control while supporting the University's transition into NCAA Division II membership and participation in the Lone Star Conference.
The Deputy Athletic Director serves as the department's primary compliance administrator and works collaboratively with coaches, faculty, admissions, financial aid, registrar, student accounts, business services, human resources, legal counsel, and university leadership to ensure compliance with NCAA, Lone Star Conference, Texas A&M University System, University, state, and federal regulations.
