The City of Peoria is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Deputy City Manager to join its executive leadership team. With nearly 200,000 residents and significant growth anticipated in the years ahead, Peoria offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in a thriving, full-service city known for strong fiscal stewardship, exceptional services, and an outstanding quality of life.

Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager will provide executive leadership and oversight to Finance & Budget, Human Resources, Information Technology, the Office of Communications, and the Office of Innovation. This highly visible role will help advance strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and lead important organizational initiatives across the City.

Peoria is looking for a leader who is ready to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong business and financial acumen, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to quickly build trust and credibility. Experience leading organizational transformation and the centralization of corporate functions is especially valuable, and an information technology background is highly desirable. Government experience is welcomed but not required.
