Your Opportunity
Stantecs Program Management Construction Management Group is seeking a Deputy Construction Manager / Project Manager to work on large, complex transportation construction projects with construction values more than $500M. This position requires onsite presence in Honolulu, HI.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of large, complex construction projects serving as a client liaison and leading project teams.
- Engage in the Construction Management community, mentor staff, and document lessons learned.
- Support recruitment by screening candidates, interviewing, and collaborating with HR on employment offers.
- Supervise design-phase constructability and sequencing reviews.
- Manage bid phase activities: pre-bid meetings, contractor inquiries, addenda issuance, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
- Direct preconstruction planning, approve procedures and tools, and review contract documents for construction phase readiness.
- Manage multiple large, complex projects simultaneously.
- Oversee day-to-day construction management to ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule; enforce contractor compliance.
- Act as a liaison with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
