Deputy Manager

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in our management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store in the Store Manager''''s absence. This role will be predominantly based in the Bikes & Cycling department, so an understanding of bikes or a passion for cycling, coupled with leadership experience, would be advantageous.

We are looking for a commercially minded and sales-focused manager who can lead from the front, drive sales performance, and make a measurable impact on key KPIs within the Bike Hut. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example to foster a customer-centric culture.

• Manage daily store operations, including compliance with health and safety and retail standards.

What We're Looking For:

• A year of managerial experience in a retail sales environment.
• Proven track record in coaching and managing colleagues.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer metrics.
• Commercial acumen and awareness of industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn our systems.
