Responsibilities:
Assist, and act on behalf of, the prime contract program manager managing a Navy Program Office contract
Assist in all contractual matters including Financial management, personnel management, stakeholder management and communication, risk and quality management, deliverable management, and internal and external reporting
Assist program budget and staffing requirements
Task Instruction management
Manage Program changes
Support project supervisors, controllers, and other key stakeholders
Manage sub-contractor relationship
Work closely and manage the customer expectations
Facilitate stakeholder kickoff and review meetings
Reviews of Contract Data Requirements, technical/status reports and invoices
Review status reports and invoices
Provide weekly status report and KPI’s
Requirements:
Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required for this position
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Detailed oriented
Knowledge of project management principles
Risk management and change control
Contract management
Leadership and mentorship
Financial management
Scheduling and task planning using Project and Excel
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS in Engineering, Business Degree or Sciences preferred
10 years program/project management in DOD or Navy Acquisition
15 years of experience in DOD/U.S. Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
2 years Supervisory experience
Experience communicating with Senior Level executives such as those in the Senior Executive Service
