The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to work side-by-side with the most knowledgeable and dedicated team members in the DoD to manage, build, and implement a large scale SAP S/4HANA transportation management system in support of a high impact DoD customer. This is a customer-facing position and plays a pivotal role in leading the daily execution and achievement of program goals and objectives. You’ll leverage the latest cutting edge technology and implementation methodologies to tailor-fit COTS products and third party components to meet customer business objectives. Responsibilities:
 

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop and execute project plans and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and lead the day-to-day activities of the project team and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and project teams.
  • Act as a liaison between various program stakeholders and the Program Manager, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist in controlling scope and resource allocation to maintain focus on priority objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Implement and enforce best practices and quality standards in alignment with CACI and contract guidelines.
  • Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for program stakeholders.
  • Support change management efforts by assisting in the identification of impacts, stakeholder communication, and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the PM and team to identify opportunities to create sustainable program growth and delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience managing large, complex information technology programs
  • Level 3 DAU or PgMP/PMP is required.
  • Agile certification and experience (5 years) working in an Agile environment.
  • Project management expertise for planning, executing, and completing large scale projects across various stakeholder groups and teams.
  • People management and soft skills needed to lead a diverse team of experts across both technical and non-technical roles.
  • History of increasing roles and responsibilities that promote leadership and technical acumen.
  • Financial management skills and an understanding of business drivers and revenue generators.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate plans and strategies to executive level positions.
  • Active Secret Clearance


Desired:

  • SAFe agile certification and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • One of the following certifications: CCISO, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, DAWIA PM Advanced, FTTSP-A, FTTSP-M, GFACT, GSLC
  • Experience managing information technology programs for the Federal Government (DoD preferred)
  • SAP expertise (public sector, transportation management, and federal financials preferred)
  • Operating large ERP systems in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with Federal financial audits and compliance

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
