We are looking for a DER Infrastructure Testing Manager to join our growing team in United States!

Role - DER Infrastructure Testing Manager

Location - Hybrid (Baltimore, Chicago or Philadelphia)

 

We are seeking a QA Analyst responsible for leading and coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for enterprise IT infrastructure projects. These initiatives include network, security, cloud, and platform transformations.

This role will drive end to end test execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure infrastructure solutions meet both technical and operational requirements prior to production deployment.

The QA Analyst will serve as a central point of coordination between IT engineering, operations, business stakeholders, and vendor teams, ensuring test readiness, execution, defect resolution, and overall quality governance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • SIT/UAT Planning & Coordination Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of SIT and UAT test cycles for IT infrastructure initiatives
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and workstreams (network, security, infrastructure, application teams)
  • Ensure test environments, infrastructure configurations, and access are provisioned prior to testing
  • Align test scope, timelines, and entry/exit criteria with project stakeholders
  • Test Execution Oversight Manage day to day execution of SIT and UAT testing activities
  • Coordinate assignment and tracking of test cases and execution status
  • Ensure test scripts are executed and outcomes documented in test management tools
  • Oversee validation of infrastructure components (connectivity, security controls, integrations, system performance)
  • Facilitate defect identification, logging, triage, and retesting cycles
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the liaison between: Infrastructure engineering teams Business users (UAT testers)
  • Vendors / system integrators
  • Coordinate UAT tester engagement and ensure business validation of solution functionality
  • Lead daily/weekly test status calls and provide updates as required
  • Defect & Quality Management Drive defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution across SIT/UAT
  • Ensure defects are documented, communicated, and retested effectively
  • Validate defect closure and confirm readiness for exit criteria
  • Ensure cross-system integration issues (e.g., network routing, authentication, data flow) are properly diagnosed and resolved
  • Governance & Reporting Produce and present test status reporting (progress, defects, risks)
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
  • Support go/no-go decisions by providing clear testing metrics and readiness assessments
  • Ensure testing outcomes align with enterprise infrastructure standards and operational readiness requirements
  • Test Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to development of test strategy, test plans, and procedures Identify and implement improvements to testing processes and tools
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise QA standards and testing best practices

 

Required Qualifications

 

5+ years of experience in QA / testing / test coordination roles

Proven experience leading SIT and UAT cycles within IT infrastructure or platform projects

Strong understanding of: SDLC / testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, defect management)

Infrastructure environments (networking, security, cloud, or data platforms)

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in utility, regulated, or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with: Network / security testing (e.g., firewall, VPN, identity, access)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Data validation / reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, ERP)
  • Prior experience acting as Test Lead / Test Coordinator
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, audit readiness, or compliance-driven testing
