About the Role: Elite Dermatology is looking for a polished and personable Dermatology and Cosmetic Receptionist to join our River Oaks team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for both medical dermatology, plastic surgery, and cosmetic services
Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately
Verify patient insurance, collect copays, and process payments accurately
Maintain and update patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) software
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
Assist with cosmetic consultation scheduling and follow-up communications
Requirements:
Prior experience in a medical or dermatology front desk/receptionist role preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems and medical scheduling software
Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing basics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Professional, polished appearance and demeanor befitting a cosmetic practice
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
