    Company Description Vera Dermatology is dedicated to providing honest and ethical medical care for conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. The practice offers comprehensive medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services to a diverse patient population. Team members work closely with our Dermatologist and our dermatology Physician Assistant. No experience is required, we are willing to train for the right candidate. This is an excellent position for someone in the pre-medical or pre-PA track.

    Role Description The Dermatology Medical Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chino, CA. This role supports dermatology providers by preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient intake, documenting medical histories, and recording vital signs. Daily responsibilities include assisting with dermatologic procedures, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments, managing supplies, and supporting wound care and post-procedure instructions under clinician guidance. The Medical Assistant also schedules appointments, updates electronic medical records, handles prior authorizations or referrals, and responds to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner. This role works closely with the clinical team to maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate environment that supports high-quality patient care.

    • Demonstrated clinical support skills in a medical or dermatology setting, including patient intake and basic procedure assistance.
    • \n
    • Ability to maintain accurate electronic medical records, follow clinical protocols, and support scheduling and front-office workflows.
    • \n
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, clinicians, and team members in a respectful and professional manner.
    • \n
    • Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and proper handling and sterilization of medical instruments.
    • \n
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
    • \n
    • Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin Chinese are required.
