Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position.

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6pm potential change for Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-6pm
  • Some holidays are required

Compensation

  • Starting pay with ranges $25.00- $28.00

Requirements

What You ll Do

As an Dermatology Veterinary Assistant you ll work closely with our board-certified dermatologist to support patients throughout their treatment from diagnosis through follow-up. You ll be a steady, compassionate presence for both patients and families.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer medications and immunotherapy under the supervision of an dermatologist
  • Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans
  • Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
  • Provide empathetic client communication and education
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, and Radiology
  • Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care during every step of treatment

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experienced veterinary assistant
  • Experience in specialty medicine and/or dermatology preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
  • A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
