Position Responsibilities Include:
•Work with a team of engineers to design, architect, develop, and support real-time data
management solutions for storing, streaming, processing, and visualizing high-throughput
sensor data
•Deliver solutions that span the entire software development lifecycle, from design to
production, and multiple deployment paradigms including CLI tools, native (Windows), and
web applications
•Interface with data acquisition hardware (transducers, DAQ devices) to pull and process
data
•Design and implement intuitive user experiences for data visualization and analysis
•Build clean, well-tested APIs and streaming pipelines for high-throughput time-series data
•Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to translate requirements into
technical solutions
•Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, architecture design,
•Build and maintain deployment, CI/CD, observability, and database infrastructure
•Help define product roadmap and priorities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or
Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
•2+ years of experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems
•2+ years of experience with C/C++ software for real-time embedded systems
•2+ years of experience with Application Development
•Experience in experimental data acquisition, instrumentation, and analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience
•Strong proficiency in C/C++ or C# (or similar)
•Experience with native application development for Windows (C# and .NET, C++ and Qt,
or similar)
•Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, or similar)
•Proficient in modern version control systems (Git, GitLab, or similar)
•Proficient with containerization technologies (Docker or similar)
•Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, MATLAB, or other programming languages
Experience with data acquisition and processing systems (transducers, control systems,
IoT devices, DAQ hardware, or similar)
•Comfortable developing and operating on Windows and Linux environments
•Experience with modern testing practices and tools (unit testing, TDD, etc.)
Familiar with continuous integration and deployment platforms (GitLab CI, CircleCI, GitHub
Actions, or similar)
•Experience with time-series file formats (HDF5, TDMS, or similar)
•Experience with native data visualization libraries
