Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware, software, and interface specifications for propulsion systems.
Supports design of propulsion sub-systems and components including engine controls, fire detection, APU, and fuels systems.
Employs testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.
Develops general configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems.
Applies requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems, and vehicle fuel and tank systems.
Utilizes Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to speed innovation and assist in development, integration, and certification of complex systems.
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Develops concepts for future propulsion systems.
Works with cross-functional teams and worldwide customer and supply base to develop system components and validate designs through laboratory and airplane testing.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical field.
Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience.
Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
Experience with model-based development tools.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of FAA or EASA certification.
Experience with ARP4754 Product Development.
Experience with ARP4761 Safety Assessment.
Experience with Agile methodology.
