Summary: 

• Designs, architects, develops, and supports real-time data management solutions for storing, streaming, processing, and visualizing high-throughput sensor data.

• Delivers solutions spanning the entire software development lifecycle from design to production, including CLI tools, native Windows applications, and web applications.

• Interfaces with data acquisition hardware including transducers and DAQ devices to pull and process data.

• Designs and implements intuitive user experiences for data visualization and analysis.

• Builds clean, well-tested APIs and streaming pipelines for high-throughput time-series data.

• Builds and maintains deployment, CI/CD, observability, and database infrastructure.

• Develops real-time data management solutions using C, C++, and C# .NET.

• Works with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLite for data storage.

• Uses containerization technologies including Docker for deployment.

• Works with time-series file formats including HDF5 and TDMS.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

• 2+ years of experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems.

• 2+ years of experience with C and C++ software for real-time embedded systems.

• 2+ years of experience with Application Development.

• Experience in experimental data acquisition, instrumentation, and analysis.

• Preferred: 7 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination.

• Preferred: Strong proficiency in C, C++, or C# for native application development.

• Preferred: Experience with native application development for Windows using C# and .NET, or C++ and Qt.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or MATLAB.
