Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000 / yearDepartment: Innovative PursuitsLocation: Idaho Falls, IDUnmatched Comp Time PolicyHours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.Job OverviewAs a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team, you will lead and coordinate structural engineering in transportation projects across the Mountain West region.Responsibilities, Expectations, and DutiesLead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation (freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared use facilities) on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projectsCoordinate with other discipline leadsIntegral member of the project management and delivery teamLead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.Knowledge and experience with standard bridge industry softwareWork effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clientsAbility and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and managementProven history of meeting project deadlinesA desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goalsQualifications, Skills, and CompetenciesCurrent PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA10+ years of experience in transportation structures design5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experienceMust be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clientsOutstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levelsOrganized and detail-orientedBenefitsAt Horrocks, you can expect a competitive base salary and award-winning benefits.
