About the Role:
Curtains and Company is looking for a creative and customer-focused Design Consultant to join our team in Pineville, NC! In this role, you'll help clients bring their interior visions to life through personalized consultations and expert product recommendations. If you have a passion for home décor and a knack for building relationships, this is the opportunity for you.



Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their design needs, style preferences, and budget for window treatments and home textiles
• Recommend and present product solutions including curtains, drapes, sheers, blinds, and drapery hardware
• Assist customers in selecting fabrics, colors, and styles that complement their desired décor
• Prepare accurate measurements, quotes, and order documentation for custom and in-stock products
• Maintain showroom displays to ensure products are attractively presented and up to date
• Follow up with clients throughout the order and installation process to ensure satisfaction
• Stay current on interior design trends, new product offerings, and industry developments

Requirements:

• Experience in interior design, home furnishings, retail sales, or a related field preferred
• Strong eye for design, color, and spatial aesthetics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to take accurate measurements and work with product specifications
• Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with design or POS software a plus
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
