- Facilitate problem resolution within design teams and with suppliers
- Mitigate design risks through proactive design analysis and risk management methodologies
- Provide input on and design for manufacturing processes
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product design or a related engineering field
- Proficiency in engineering tools including statistics, GD&T, FEA, FMEA, and tolerance analysis
- CAD experience required; Creo Parametric preferred
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including forging, CNC machining/turning, and stamping
- Strong structured problem-solving skills (root cause analysis, failure investigations, PDCA, A3 thinking)
- Effective communicator across a broad audience and across cultures
- Ability to travel internationally, primarily to Asia, up to four times per year for one to two weeks at a time
- Passion for continuous learning, self-improvement, and contributing to team growth
Benefits
- Competitive salary starting at $75,000, with potential up to 40% higher based on experience and skills.
