Our client is a manufacturer of Power and Process equipment that is looking to bring on an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer to join their design team.
* Perform wall thickness and line sizing calculations as well as calculations for pressure vessels and piping systems. * Review and apply customer specifications and applicable codes to design of products * Prepare Bill of Materials for Custom Manufactured equipment * Capable of communicating with production department, vendors and customers
* 5+ years of real-world mechanical design experience utilizing ASME Code * BSME/BSChemE * Strong working knowledge of ASME Piping code (B31.1 / B31.3) * Metallic and non-metallic materials (Fiberglass - Familiarity with RTP1 is a plus ++) * Understanding and familiarity with fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, pressure vessels, Shell and tube Heat exchangers, Valves, and Piping Systems * Proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical Software - 2D * In depth knowledge of welding and NDE is required.
