Design Engineer

In this critical role, you will focus on the innovative design and development of electrical components. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that surpass performance norms while adhering to reliability standards. Your key responsibilities include crafting detailed electrical component designs, developing initial prototypes, and executing rigorous testing procedures to enhance performance metrics like torque and durability. Working hand-in-hand with manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain teams, you’ll ensure that our designs are not only manufacturable and cost-effective but also meet industry benchmarks and environmental guidelines. Your expertise will also be pivotal in drafting technical documentation and exploring design improvements to boost efficiency, reduce weight, and lower production costs. You will manage and prioritize multiple design projects, ensuring a seamless workflow. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 1-6 years of experience in design engineering, with a thorough understanding of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing practices and strong proficiency in CAD software.
