We are hiring a Design Engineer III, Substation Engineering, in Maryland Heights, MO.
- Develops conceptual and detailed designs for substations, including physical layouts, protection & control systems, grounding, lightning protection, and equipment specifications.
- Performs engineering calculations, supports procurement, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Contributes to project proposals, schedules, and quality reviews, while mentoring junior engineers.
- Participates in construction support, business development, and industry engagement.
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years in power systems, preferably PE licensed. Strong knowledge of standards and substation design, with excellent communication skills. Willing to travel up to 20%.
