Seeking a Design Engineer III in Substation Engineering for a leading transmission and distribution engineering firm in Maryland Heights, MO.
Responsibilities include developing conceptual and detailed substation designs, performing engineering calculations, preparing equipment specifications, and supporting procurement.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, ensure quality and compliance, mentor junior engineers, and support construction activities.
Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience (master's may substitute one year), PE preferred, knowledge of standards, and experience with physical and protection/control system design. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. Willingness to travel up to 20%.
