Seeking a talented Design Engineer to develop custom automated door solutions using SolidWorks 3D CAD software. Collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, Operations, and Engineering to create models, prepare submittal and fabrication drawings, and process engineering change orders. Conduct design analyses to ensure compliance with structural and mechanical requirements, support manufacturing, and assist sales and customers. Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements, and contribute to R&D efforts.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
- Electrical experience and willingness to travel are a plus.
