We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer in Mankato, MN to develop aviation door systems.
Collaborate with project managers, sales, operations, and engineering teams to create custom and standard door solutions using SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
Responsibilities include designing product models, preparing submittal and fabrication drawings, processing engineering change orders, conducting design analysis, supporting manufacturing, and creating technical documentation.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), 5+ years of experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software.
Additional skills include task prioritization, independence, attention to detail, and willingness to travel domestically.
