Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Engineer with a strong background in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) mechanical design and layout. This role involves designing and integrating complex electronic hardware within aerospace and defense systems in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Design and develop mechanical layouts for CCA boards and electromechanical systems
Perform connector selection, board integration, and tolerance/clearance analysis
Utilize PTC Creo and Windchill for 3D design and product data management
Support enclosure integration, manufacturing activities, and testing
Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and troubleshoot production issues
Create and maintain engineering documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, and reliability teams
Contribute to test planning and system integration efforts
Support cable and harness design (preferred)
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
CCA board mechanical layout and design
Connector selection and manufacturing support
PTC Creo and Windchill
Exposure to Zuken, IPC standards, and aerospace/defense product lifecycles
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Ability to produce high-quality engineering documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cable and harness design
Prior work in aerospace or defense environments
