Position/Role:

\n

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and optimization of Create Energy products and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure successful project execution from initial concept to manufacturing (designs).

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Develop detailed solar PV system layouts using CAD and solar design software (e.g., Helioscope, Aurora Solar, AutoCAD).

\n

Perform comprehensive material takeoffs for commercial, and utility-scale projects.

\n

Interpret site plans, architectural drawings, and electrical schematics to create optimized solar designs.

\n

Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering and product teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and code compliance.

\n

Conduct shading analysis, energy production estimates, and system sizing.

\n

Maintain design documentation and update project files throughout the lifecycle.

\n

Assist in permitting and interconnection documentation preparation.

\n

Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and PV, EV, and BESS technologies.
