Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, layout development, and design issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop feasible layouts and resolve design issues.
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
Support layout and drawing issue resolution and DPM management.
Manage BOM, price, and weight targets.
Review CAD data, Class A surfaces, standards, guidelines, and previous program documentation.
Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues and evaluate technical proposals.
Manage multiple engineering projects and prepare technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
BS or MS in Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of engineering/design experience.
Strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5 and V6.
Experience with 3D modeling, 2D drawings, layouts, and CAD data.
Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within a team.
Experience with supplier coordination and technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
