Design Engineer (thin-gauge thermoforming)

A growing thin gauge medical device packaging thermoformer is looking for a Design Engineer. Working with a small team of fellow Design Engineers, it is one of several business units in a much larger organization, effectively functioning as a smaller unit with nimbleness, flatness, a collaborative environment, and a great bunch of people... with the resources that comes their parent company.

This is not a desk job, focused solely on design behind a screen. You will work with customers for intake conversations, part reviews, trials runs, and more; work cross-functionally with tooling, engineering, and manufacturing; and spend time on floor to ensure manufacturability.

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in a technical field
• Must have at least 5 years of thermoformed packaging design
• Must have at least 5 years working in a highly regulated environment (pharma or medical device)
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across a variety of internal and external teams

This is an onsite role given the nature of the team dynamics.
