Job Description: We are seeking a creative and motivated Design Intern with a background in production design to join the creative team at Axiom Custom Products. This person thrives in the details, loves a good InDesign file, and has an interest in retail design. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding designer to dive headfirst into the world of design and fabrication. As a Design Intern, you’ll work alongside our talented teams on portfolio-building projects. This position is a full-time, paid, on-site internship at the Axiom Studio. Internship duration is 2-3 months.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in architecture, interior design, graphic design, environmental design, exhibition design, or related field
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage feedback and revisions
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Curiosity about materials, fabrication methods, and how things are physically built
A design portfolio showcasing recent work
