Our client is an award-winning, rapidly growing landscape design-build firm seeking a talented Design Project Director to lead the design, sales, and execution of high-end residential landscape and outdoor living projects.

This is not a typical designer role. You'll have the opportunity to combine your creativity, client-facing skills, and business acumen while working on beautiful projects that transform outdoor spaces and enhance the lives of your clients.

What You'll Do

- Design custom landscape, hardscape, and outdoor living environments

- Meet directly with clients to understand their goals, vision, and budget

- Create compelling design concepts and presentations using industry-leading software

- Develop project estimates and proposals

- Guide clients through the entire design-build process

- Build relationships that generate referrals and repeat business

- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful project execution

- Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and client satisfaction

- Manage your project pipeline from initial consultation through project completion

Ideal Background

We're looking for a professional who combines strong design capabilities with the ability to build trust and develop client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of landscape design, outdoor living, or design-build experience
• Experience presenting designs and working directly with clients
• Sales, estimating, or business development experience preferred
• Strong understanding of landscape and hardscape construction practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Lumion
• Microsoft Office 365

Preferred

• Landscape Architecture degree
• Aspire ERP experience
• Leadership or team development experience
