Must Have
- 2 - 5 years of experience with a BS in Packaging or a related engineering field (e.G., Mechanical or Materials).
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with the ability to build custom fixtures.
- Proficiency in reading drawings, BOMs, GD&T.
- Experience in mechanical assembly and components.
- Ability to work with vendors on dimensions and order components.
- Experience qualifying equipment in a medical device manufacturing assembly line.
- Experience working in a medical device company in a cleanroom environment.

- CAD & Engineering Drawings: Strong modeling and GD&T capabilities.
- Mechanical Testing and Troubleshooting: Hands-on ability to build fixtures, perform inspection and testing, troubleshoot mechanical issues, collect and document results.
- Technical Design Communication: Ability to understand and communicate technical design changes to a cross-functional team, with execution of changes and understanding the impact enabled by a strong understanding of DFM.
Education Required

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Design components or portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing and field service operations.
- Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, such as CAD, CAM, CATIA, ProEngineer, Solidworx, or Siemens NX Software.
- Gather information, make studies, compute calculations, and prepare original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposals.
- Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
Technician Support Career Stream
Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.
