Key Skills (Must Have)

  • CAD design experience using Creo or SolidWorks
  • Mechanism design & product development
  • Knowledge of Machine Safety and Ergonomic Standards
  • Hands-on Sheet Metal Fabrication (manual brake, shear, etc.)
  • Experience manufacturing complex instruments
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Nice to Have

  • Medical device industry experience
  • Manual machining (mills, lathes)
  • Validation and process development experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and modify mechanical components/systems using CAD.
  • Create layouts, drawings, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Planning teams.
  • Support manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
  • Lead technical activities, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement.
