Pay Rate: 70k-80k annually BOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Hybrid)
Position Summary
The Designer works closely with the Sr. Director of Design to develop stylish, brand-right apparel for the girls’ category. This role is responsible for supporting seasonal product lines from concept to final production, including design, graphics, fit, fabrics, and color direction.
The ideal candidate is creative, trend-focused, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Design seasonal apparel collections, graphics, and prints
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and market inspiration
- Create sketches, tech packs, spec sheets, and design documentation
- Assist with merchandising layouts and seasonal product presentations
- Support graphic updates, recolors, and print development
- Attend prototype and production fittings
- Partner with Product Development and cross-functional teams
- Maintain project timelines and meet seasonal deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of apparel design experience
- Children’s wear experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and textiles
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas and concepts
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
