Position Summary The Designer develops compliant fall protection system layouts and engineering submittals, translating design intent into manufacturable and installable solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop fall protection system layouts and complete engineering submittal packages. Review architectural and structural drawings for coordination and integration. Coordinate directly with customers during design development and review cycles. Submit approved plans for permitting and deferred submittals. Generate schedule of material and production drawings with the use of Inventor. Support installation troubleshooting and field coordination. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal design practices. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an Architect, Engineering or Construction related industry. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Proficiency with Inventor. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of CalOSHA and ANSI fall protection standards. This position may require employees to sit at a computer station/desk for prolonged periods of time up to 8 hours a day. The employee is regularly required to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation required for position. Employees must be able to use hands and fingers to operate keyboard and phone and to file and operate office equipment. This position may require some walking, bending, reaching and standing. Occasional travel may be required, up to 15%, depending on business needs and project requirements. Work Schedule This is a full-time salary exempt position with a typical Monday through Friday schedule, following a standard 40-hour workweek. Regular business hours apply, generally within the range of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and may vary based on company needs. This position may require hours beyond the standard working hours listed above to satisfy job duties and department demand.
