DESK SHIFT SUPERVISOR - FRONT DESK (RECREATION)

The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for Shift Supervisors. This is a part-time, non-benefited position working under the direction of a Recreation Manager, Supervisor or Coordinator. This position is responsible for the supervision of facilities and staff at the Orem Family Fitness Center, oftentimes in the absence of the Manager or Coordinator during a scheduled shift. Shift supervisors will also assist in training and supervising flexible & seasonal staff on shift. This position works closely with the Head Lifeguard on duty & lead program instructors to maintain cohesion between both sides of operations and staff. Oversees and ensures high level of customer service for all patrons. For a full job description, click here. Requires one year experience related to the operation of a fitness or aquatic facility. Supervisory experience is preferred. Must have or acquire within sixty days after hire Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and First Aid certification. Knowledge of effective public relations, cashiering techniques and procedures. Ability to quickly analyze problems and situations and take decisive and effective action. Applicants must be in compliance with Recreation department dress, personal appearance, and tattoo policy. Starts at $15.00 per hour depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
