Job Title : Desk Side Support Engineer
Location  :  New York-Need to work from office 3 Days a week
Duration  : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $35 - $45/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Desk Side Support Engineer to provide both onsite and remote technical support to end users. The role involves resolving incidents, handling service requests, managing hardware lifecycles, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows 10/11 Administration
  • Proficiency in Client 365 / Office 365
  • Support for Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Strong desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SCCM / Intune
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN)
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide Level-1/Level-2 desktop support for users
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS, enterprise applications, and network connectivity issues
  • Respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLA timelines
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and coordinate part replacements
  • Support software installations, upgrades, and patch management
  • Assist with PC imaging, deployment, and user migrations
  • Maintain asset inventory and documentation
