    Job Description

    We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Deskside Technician to provide onsite IT support to end users. This role is responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, supporting workplace technology, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

    The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting desktop environments in a corporate setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
    • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
    • Set up and deploy new equipment, including imaging and device provisioning
    • Support users with Microsoft 365, email, and collaboration tools
    • Manage user accounts and access permissions (Active Directory, etc.)
    • Troubleshoot connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN)
    • Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment
    • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing systems
    • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary

    Qualifications

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 1–4+ years of experience in IT support or deskside support roles
    • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
    • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools
    • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Preferred Qualifications
