Desktop Analyst

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032

Hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Pacific

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a healthcare environment. This role supports desktop computers, laptops, Macs, printers, software, and peripherals across hospital and clinic locations.

The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, professional communication, and a customer-focused approach. Hospital or healthcare IT experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

• Image, configure, and deploy PCs, laptops, and Macs using SCCM and Casper.

• Install, repair, and maintain workstations and printers.

• Activate network ports and perform desktop patching in IDF environments.

• Assist with user and departmental equipment moves.

• Support remote users and other locations while working onsite.

• Respond to user questions and escalate unresolved technical or customer-service issues.

• Follow established IT procedures and recommend improvements to support processes.

• Maintain spare-equipment and parts inventory records.

• Prepare defective parts for return to manufacturers.

• Attend vendor training and participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least six months of IT experience; the role targets candidates with approximately six months to two years of experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.

• Strong, clear, and professional communication skills.

• Customer-service skills and the ability to work effectively with end users and technical teams.

• Availability to work fully onsite in Los Angeles and perform on-call duties as needed.

• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field.

• Hospital or healthcare IT support experience.

• Experience imaging and deploying computers using SCCM and Casper.

• Experience supporting both PCs and Macs.

• Exposure to Cerner, FootPrints, and Kronos.

• Experience with network-port activation, IDF patching, and workstation moves.

Interview and Onboarding

The interview process includes two to three stages, with video interviews and an onsite final interview.

All required healthcare onboarding must be completed before the start date, including background screening, education and employment verification, drug screening, and applicable health and immunization documentation. Candidates listing certifications or licenses must provide copies of those credentials.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
