Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide end-user support across a Microsoft-focused environment. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively manage support requests in a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1-2 support for end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
Manage and resolve support tickets using Jira ITSM, ensuring timely and accurate updates and resolution
Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating technical issues and solutions to non-technical users
Document support activities, solutions, and knowledge base articles to improve service efficiency
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless support coverage
Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet service level expectations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
Proven troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware, software, and basic networking
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle users professionally and empathetically
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Effective time management and task prioritization skills

Additional Information

Occasional travel required (approximately 3-4 times per year)

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
