Hardware Decommissioning, Data Wiping, and Asset Preparation Support.
Hardware Processing Technician / Entry-Level IT Support Technician.
SUMMARY
Our Government Client is seeking two contractor resources to support a 17 week onsite engagement to process a backlog of endpoint client devices and related legacy equipment that has already been recovered and placed in designated storage or staging areas. Contractor personnel will provide labor and basic technical skills to wipe hard drives and other data-bearing media using Client-provided wiping stations, maintain simple activity records, palletize and label equipment, prepare assets for auction or donation, move equipment to designated staging or donation areas, and support related labor or basic IT support tasks if the primary backlog is completed before the end of the engagement. Contractor personnel will report to and receive work directions from the Client’s Tech Lead.
TASKS:
Weekly Activity Log summarizing equipment processed, hard drives wiped, pallets prepared, equipment moved, and any related support work completed during the reporting period.
